AS Roma has been once again linked to Newcastle United's star midfielder Yohan Cabaye as the Frenchman used to play under coach Rudi Garcia during his time at Lille.

Despite winning the first 10 games of the season in Serie A, there seems to be just one problem with the capital side and that is the concern of the squad depth.

The Italian side are already looking towards January to help reinforce the squad and they have already found three Premier League names to target.

Along with Cabaye, Tottenham duo Sandro and Lewis Holtby are believed to be on Roma's radar but the Newcastle player is the main target with Sandro the most unlikely to leave their respective clubs.

The Tyneside club value their player at a price of around 15 million pounds which is an amount which Roma would probably be willing to meet.

Roma have had their 10 match winning streak stopped at the hands of Torino with the game ending with a goal apiece.

The top of the table side traveled to Turin yesterday and they started well with a first half goal through Kevin Strootman with Miralem Pjanic who started as part of the front three bagging the assist.

In the second half, it was the home team who had the better of Roma and they finally cracked with Alessio Cerci finding the back of the net against his old side and his 8th of the season so far.

But the positive to come out of this match was that Nico Burdisso is still a capable third choice defender and they still remain unbeaten with a match against Sassuolo to come next week.
